Absolutely. First-time guests are warmly welcomed. We guide you through the omakase flow, serving each piece according to the day's freshest catch. No strict etiquette required — feel free to ask the chef questions at the counter.

The omakase course typically takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. We serve at a pace that matches your dining rhythm, so please relax and enjoy.

We regularly welcome international guests. English menu service is available.

We do our best to accommodate allergies. Please inform us when making your reservation. Please note that some allergies, such as shellfish, may limit menu modifications.

Edomae sushi is experienced through the delicate aromas of fish, vinegared rice, nori, and wasabi. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing strong perfumes, as they may affect the experience of other diners.

Food photography is permitted. However, please refrain from using flash or taking photos that include other guests.

We accept cash and major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, AMEX).

Cancellations or changes to party size must be made by the day before. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to the full course charge. This policy protects not only our ingredients, but also the valuable resource of time and seats.

No strict dress code, but we ask guests to dress neatly. Casual attire including jeans is perfectly acceptable.

We source the finest fish of the day directly from trusted wholesalers at Tsukiji Market, with whom we have built a relationship spanning over 50 years. Prioritizing seasonality and freshness above all, we value the discerning eye that selects truly delicious fish.

Technique

The work of Edomae sushi is not about “adding” but “subtracting.” To bring out the inherent umami of the ingredients to the fullest, we never add anything unnecessary. You can feel the precision born from 50 years of experience right across the counter.
